Come along to us and experience a lovely morning of drawing with thread.
Held in Hythe, Kent; Francesca will be taking you through from setting up your machine correctly to making up some wonderful original textile art pieces.
Class 10am-1pm with free flowing tea, coffee & cake... of course!
Price includes everything you will need to complete this class and more, but do feel free to bring along a little bag of your favourite scrap fabrics.
You will either need a machine that can successfully free motion embroider, meaning you can put the feed dogs down or they can be covered and you will need the correct darning foot for your machine. Or we can provide a vintage singer sewing machine for you to use.
Basic sewing experience with a sewing machine will be needed, so please do get in touch with Francesca on 07702452227 if you need further information.

Had a great time learning to draw with my sewing machine, something I had put off trying but Francesca made it so simple with her clear demonstration and infinite patience. Well worth trying this course, you will not be disappointed!
A great morning with Francesca and I learnt so much. Her teaching method ensured I understood the clear instructions and I was able to create something really quickly. It was such fun learning this new method of sewing and I will certainly use these new skills again. The venue was perfect, being warm and friendly with refreshements included, the added bonus of a goodie bag was a delightful suprise. I would highly recommend anyone who is into sewing to give this a go.

The 3 hour session was excellent and perfect for beginners. Packed full of useful tips, with a confidence building approach, as I embarked on my 1st attempt at free hand machine embroidery. I think Francesca has created an machine embroidery monster! Can’t wait to continue with more (although very frustrated as I’m so busy at the moment) and looking forward to some more sessions.
